The Stick Awards are handed out to the best strips of all time as chosen by our fellow Playgrounders.

This week we are covering the comic strips 921 through 930.

Voting for this week will close on Aug 13th, 4pm EDT. Any votes made after that will NOT count toward the totals.

Last time, 913 Independent screamed at all of the judges present that it no longer wanted their protection and wanted them to treat it like any other strip. Contrary to one what might think could happen in such a situation, it was sent to the Best of the Hundred tournament. Whether it will be brutally murdered the second it turns its back on the judges remains to be seen.

That will be a matter to settle another day, however. Instead, there seems to be a minor little scrum to sort out first. Best to figure out which one is deserving of victory before some decide that discretion is the better part of valor. And we figure that out by voting in.....

Didn't vote in the last one as I liked a lot of them but none really stood out for me.

This is even more of a strong set. I love 927, with an awesome Elan "It's fun to help out", but my favourite is definitely

Love this set. 930 especially is a great return that I, at least, did not see coming. However, it's 922 for me. Belkar's not one of my favorite characters, but he had so many great moments in this book. It feels unfair to ignore them. Besides, that last panel is hilarious.

And no, it's not affected by recent events in the comic! It's a darn good strip!

Well, dang. This is the single most hardcore set of ten strips in the entirety of OOTS. I'm darned if I know which one I like best.

I'll go with 922: Payback. 930 is arguably a more dramatic surprise, and 923 is arguably more hardcore, but 922 combines both pretty well, so I'll go with it.
