You leave Bella stammering her way to an explanation to Franchino as you bolt after the fleeing father and seeking son. They haven't gotten far before you catch up to Biagio, who is no sprinter. But to him, you might as well be invisible; he gives you a short glance that assesses you are not trying to hurt or tackle him, and continues down the way. His leather apron flaps wildly against his knees as he runs - you hear the jingling of fine locksmithing tools dancing on the cobbles behind you as he knocks them free from his gear. A little ahead, you see Maso break right around the corner of the street instead of crossing the bridge over the canal. You get to the corner before Biagio does a moment after, to find Cestie about two stories up a three story wall; scrambling up old windowsills and protruding mortared stones in what you guess is a climb he is specifically familiar with making. Biagio tries to climb after him, but immediately fails; his foot slips off a smooth corner of masonry he mistook for a good foothold and he plops a few feet back to the ground on his backside, wincing at the impact but seeming largely unharmed.

"Papa! Come down!" He calls in breathless exasperation, as the old man pulls himself over the lip of the roof above!

You just watched Signore Cestié do it, so you could give chase with a Scale Sheer Surface roll at +20%. Or you could try to appeal to his reason - but he does seem to be having some kind of panic response, so no assurances that will work.
