HALO is located Under the Sea! However that doesn't mean you can't visit...
There are Shuttlepods providing arrivals and departures on a regular schedule.
There are no anti-teleport wards!
If you can't teleport yourself, there are Ring Transporters, which link (among other places) the Mall of Acronymia from Inside.

Important Note for Villains
Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say (Mind if I introduce a villain here?) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

... I'll be honest, I'm mostly here because of my husband. He does the buttkicking and planning and stuff. I mostly take care of my daughter.
She steps back.

"Hm?" She looks around, and pretends to be shocked, as if she had not seen the purplish mist that's gathering around Pesty and her daughter.

"Oh, nope. But I can take care of it for you." Without waiting for a "Thanks" or "You're a liar" or anything else, she snaps.

The misty stuff then clears away directly around them, starting to form a large circle around the two catgirls.
Then, it begins climbing to form spires, which solidify and become black and as shiny as steel. Or obsidian. It kinda traps them in the 5-yard radius circle, unless they're able to realize what's going on and escape fast enough.

Pesty thinks fast enough to get her daughter out of the way; the daughter is thrown and lands on her feet, running like hell.

Pesty is trapped.
What are you gonna do now, poke me with a stick?

"Of course. What else?" she asks Pesty as she approaches the spiky prison made of souls.

She lets the girl escape, for various unknown reasons. "Really, though, I'm planning on fighting for a little bit while your daughter goes and calls for help. Then I'll ask one of them where the water heater is." As she nears the stalagmites, they bend and part, a little, to allow Requiem to step through. "Sounds like a deal?" They then return to their prison bar shape, with the two women inside the circle.

I think it's a good idea. She should accept stealing sheep. It's funner than fighting.

Inside the Great Hall, there's a circle of shiny black spikes. Inside that five yard radius circle, Pesty and Requiem are talking about pants.

Requiem, who is currently wearing a short white dress, shrugs and says, "I don't really know; I haven't worn pants with this body in a while." Other bodies, yes. But not this one. "Probably a 6, I think." Better than a 0, honestly. Since most people get confused when you say "My pants size is size 0."

She completely ignores the arrow.

Din tries to dispel them if possible "Pesty? are you ok?"

My daughter-in-law is sort of pointing an arrow at you.
I think at this point the pants no longer matter.

Great Hall

The spires don't dispel, because they're not magical. Unless you count spirits of the damned as magical, in which case a dispel spell is a one hit kill on everything.

"So no sheep, then?" Oh well. She'll bring this up later.

Requiem faces Din. "Hey, you. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find a map of this place? I'm a little lost."

Hmm...interesting. Her story keeps on changing with every person she talks to.

Din looks down at Sal "this is where I say "I don't trust you" isn't it sal?"

She told me she wanted to turn off the water heater.

she pulls the arrow back a bit more "ok miss. you will let pesty go, you will leave here, and you will NEVER come back. understood?"

"Fine with me." She shrugs. "I never did make a good schoolgirl, even when I still lived in Japan." Which, she did.

"Now, if you ladies will excuse me, it's time for me to take my leave." This time, instead of snapping, she blinks, and all the black spikes turn back to purple mist, and rush out of the room at the speed a spirit can fly.

They go out to the main base, and begin setting up stolen movie cameras of various quality and tech level all across the base. She would have prefered it if she set them up herself, because tortured spirits usually have bad work ethic.

And, I was ninja'd, but she was going to go anyway. Like minds think a lot!

Pesty's eyes harden.
Mumble grumble can't call you stuff 'cause my daughter's here.

the bow disappears again, and Din sacks down to her knees "thank the gods she didn't fight...she would have defeated me easily "

Penny comes running out.
"Oh my gosh! Din, are you okay? I was so scared..."

Pesty sighs, then eyes Penny.

Requiem raises her eyebrow at Din.
"Hey...I haven't left yet. I'm just leaving right now. But, for your sake, I won't let your slip-up hurt you."

After the dark spirits set up all the cameras, they return to Requiem and reform in a pogo stick again. Black, and filled with tortured screams.

She brings it along with her, and finally leaves HALO.

"Oh my gosh! Din, are you okay? I was so scared..."

Pesty sighs, then eyes Penny.

Din nods "I'm ok...you ok pesty? sal?"

A short guy in a delivery boy outfit knocks on the door. He's holding the leashes of seven sheep. Each sheep has a rather ridiculous looking weapon attached to it's back, along with an old-school boom box. They also happen to be wearing aviator glasses. I have the Battle Sheep you ordered... can someone sign for these?

The two sheep that can be found have lasers strapped to their backs. As soon as anyone comes with in sight of them, they open fire. They aren't particularly accurate, but it's certainly making a mess. To add to the cacophony, their ghetto blasters fill the halls with The Final Countdown (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_IKcMl_a9A).

There are two sheep in particular that are not being herded by the DRDs. One of them shambled into the Pool Room, with a flamethrower strapped to its back. It mercilessly burns and melts and overheats any DRDs who get too close to entering. It has a 1 painted on its side.

A second has entered the Front Room, and has a massive scope that goes to a tank, attatched to it. It can barely move. It has a 2 painted on its side.

That sheep is currently writing something on the carpet, very carefully.

So far, it says H E L (Guess what comes next...)

Several DRDs surround another sheep, with "5" painted on its side. It's stunned, but it continues blasting away with its laser. One DRD takes out the laser with a well placed blast, and immediately after, takes out the ghetto blaster. The sheep immediately begins to beep, and it grows louder as more DRDs surround it.

The sheep 1, who doesn't want to get shot at by little robots, is hiding behind a pile of life jackets and swimwear. Unfortunately for the robots, this doesn't keep the flamethrower to continue firing. It misses a lot, but, with a flamethrower, it doesn't matter much.

It looks like the DRDs might have to swarm and surround this particular sheep.

Front Room

Sheep 2 continues to try writing. Next letter is P. Then, a space, followed by a U.
This sheep starts beeping as well. A flashy red light emphasizes the fact.

Pesty skips to the kitchen, not hearing any of this because Kool-Aid Man is red.

With a very, very fast motion, K tries to: Put a hand on Dani's shoulder, and drop them both down.
Avoiding lazors for fun and profit!

The DRDs intuition is correct, and the sheep self-destructs messily. An explosion behind her, quickly followed by Beat It (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meT2eqgDjiM), attracts her attention. As she turns, though, the sheep doesn't seem to want to fire on her. The song pauses, and a familiar voice emits from the ghetto blaster affixed to the sheep's back: Hi, Dani!

The music resumes, but the firing doesn't continue, at least not in Dani's direction. The sheep begins to graze on the carpet contentedly.

Sheep 2, sadly, explodes. The message it was writing never gets completely finished, but is somehow still visible through the wool and mutton.

The Boom Box on that sheep stops working, as it exploded as well.

Pool Room

The flamethrower sheep 1 is...still there. That is, until the charge. It can only fire at one set of DRDs at a time.

The gun swivels to face one of them...and has run out of gas. The flame stops.

It is promply stunned by the stun guns.

De wakes up in the comfy chair near the fire, looks over her notes, and nods slowly. She folds away the laptop, hides it away again, and stands slowly, stretching. She stumbles a bit, probably from just waking - probably - and heads for the kitchen.

De comes into the kitchen wearing warm flannel pajama pants, her old sweatshirt, and fuzzy slippers. She brews herself a mug of hot tea, playing idly with the rings on her left hand as she does.

Spotting Erin, De breaks out into a wide, vibrant smile. Setting down her tea, she hurries across the kitchen to scoop Erin into a big hug. Haven't seen you in forEVER!

Seeing the planes, the worlds, the people. It was all so...mind-bending. But, when you've been to enough parties and jam sessions and laughed at enough groupies, you miss your real friends. So I'm back for a spell. Imagine my surprise to hear that your brother ran off and married some Twinkie wannabe. She laughs again. I mean, if she makes him happy, then that's great. It's just a little...you know... She shrugs and gives Pesty and Grant an apologetic glance - it wasn't that they weren't interesting, it was...well, it was ERIN!

The three remaining sheep spring back into action, running around in circles while blasting everything in site. They are labeled 4, 5, and Q and are all playing different Beatles songs. Within a few minutes, after they've been cornered, they self destruct, hopefully leaving HALO with quite the cleaning bill...

Telepathy is among Erin's talents, but she doesn't listen in on peoples thoughts - so if it isn't specifically aimed at her, she doesn't catch it.
If it was, though, she does 'hear' it.

Erin, meanwhile, grins broadly, and heads for the coffeemaker. "I can imagine. I went walkabout myself for a little while after...some things happened." A cloud passes over her face for a moment, then clears. "But when you've been away for awhile it's good to see your friends again...and even more so when they've been away for awhile. Coffee?"
Pausing, she fires up the Mr. Coffee MagiBrew 9001.
"I was as surprised as you were! I mean, well, y'know and all...I think among other things his damsel-in-distress thing kicked in." She giggles a little. "But yeah, I know what you know..."
Nodding, she turns her attention back to the coffeemaker.

De chuckles. Go figure. Never thought 'Tomi would actually settle down. She steps into the library and closes the door behind them, settling into her comfy chair by the fire. Eyeing Erin, she closes her eyes and sighs deeply. Long story short, had some strange drinks in a strange place, found myself hanging out with some strange people. Made a deal. She takes a long sip of her tea. Raist doesn't know either, so...seriously. Don't tell anyone.

This... De lady isn't a problem, and I don't think she will be.

Her lack of smiles ends when she sits on the counter and examines her toesies.

De hugs Erin back and sighs quietly. When I was with Raist, this never happened. It's just been since. But I don't wanna bother him with being all sickly. She smiles, faintly, again. And I've done a TON of research on everything I can think of. I can't find any mention of this kind of thing in any magic source. And it doesn't help that I was so hammered I can't remember the ritual. She hugs Erin and leans back, wrapping her infirmary blanket over her lap. I wanted to make sure everyone was OK and that whole...mess...had blown over. And I wanted to see... She doesn't have to say it - it's obvious.

I think he couldn't stand to be around here with the memories, so fresh. Don't tell him I told you that though." Erin's expression is firm - then softens. "Also...there's one possible way I could try to get the memory out. But it involves doing something I'm really kinda uncomfortable doing, for a variety of reasons..."

She pauses.

"...well, there's also the possibility of...letting things happen...and then bringing you back, but there's all kinds of ways that could go wrong."

He says as he will try to pick up Pesty!

De nods as she listens. I've tried hypnosis, sleep therapies, subliminal messages, meditation, blessings, prayers, shrines, saints, religious symbols, church, drinking...everything I could do. And believe me, it was hard to keep some of that stuff private. She shrugs. I don't want to be a hassle or a burden. I just wanted to see everyone and be with the people I care about when...if...it comes to that. She smiles softly again and yawns.

Not...exactly... De's brow furrows slightly. I've been "possessed" - that, I think, may have been part of the ritual. And I've tried several different churches' versions of possession. She shrugs. Is that the, uh, thing you said you weren't really...comfortable with? She yawns again, wider this time.

Erin nods. "Yes. It's one of the...ghost things I can do. I can completely take somebody over, and control them like a puppet." She frowns. "John has the soul-draining thing he's sworn never to do...that's what I don't like the most about my powers. But if it could help, I'd be willing to do it for you - especially, if you were possessed to start the whole thing, it might be the solution. And trust me, those churches have nothing on the ghost with the most."

The white-haired girl pauses, chuckles softly, swallows the last of her coffee, and sets down the mug, raising one eyebrow slightly. "Right now though, you sound like you need to get some rest, what with those yawns."

De nods her agreement, finishing her tea. Yeah, that's another thing - I sleep a lot more. She stretches and finds Indy at her feet. Chuckling, she pats her lap and lets him jump up. Just...think about it. I don't want to ask you to do anything that's not good for you. And Erin? De smiles and winks as she snuggles into the chair. Thank you. For everything. Always.

Erin chuckles softly and scritches the beagle's ears, nodding to her friend.

She smiles, and winks back. "You're welcome, for everything. And don't worry. Things are gonna work out."
Standing, she gives her already-fast-asleep friend a kiss on the forehead, then heads out of the library, back to her and Angela's room for snuggles and sleep.

Little Colin's really cute! He's got her eyes and face, but my hair and even little wings!

It's cool being an undead mom, 'cause I never have to sleep. So when he wakes up crying at night, I can tend to him right away and Gen gets to sleep right through it.

And goddessing is giving me lots of practice for momming---since I deal with dead souls and stuff and there's tons of babies that, ahem, "arrive" before their moms, and those little ones get hungry.
I'm sure you can understand how I help out in that situation.
