Important Note for Villains

Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say (Mind if I introduce a villain here?) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

We have no banner. You, you, you, and you in the back that never gets to post because s/he is usually ignored...FIND AN AVATARIST AND SEND HIM/HER THIS WAY. Heck, even if someone here is semi-good with photoshop so he can combine our avatars into a cheesy simple banner... That'll be fine too.

... I'll be honest, I'm mostly here because of my husband. He does the buttkicking and planning and stuff. I mostly take care of my daughter.
She steps back.
You, ah, got anything to do with this mist?
It's kind of annoying.

Grand Hall

"Hm?" She looks around, and pretends to be shocked, as if she had not seen the purplish mist that's gathering around Pesty and her daughter.

"Oh, nope. But I can take care of it for you." Without waiting for a "Thanks" or "You're a liar" or anything else, she snaps.

The misty stuff then clears away directly around them, starting to form a large circle around the two catgirls.
Then, it begins climbing to form spires, which solidify and become black and as shiny as steel. Or obsidian. It kinda traps them in the 5-yard radius circle, unless they're able to realize what's going on and escape fast enough.

[Beans]

Pesty thinks fast enough to get her daughter out of the way; the daughter is thrown and lands on her feet, running like hell.

Pesty is trapped.
What are you gonna do now, poke me with a stick?

Grand Hall

"Of course. What else?" she asks Pesty as she approaches the spiky prison made of souls.

She lets the girl escape, for various unknown reasons. "Really, though, I'm planning on fighting for a little bit while your daughter goes and calls for help. Then I'll ask one of them where the water heater is." As she nears the stalagmites, they bend and part, a little, to allow Requiem to step through. "Sounds like a deal?" They then return to their prison bar shape, with the two women inside the circle.

Fighting who, exactly?
Little me? Silly little me and my goth pants? What do you expect me to do, cough up a hairball and leave a dead bird on your doorstep?

"Yes, you, silly," says Requiem. She yawns.
Oh, wait. She just remembered; it's not good to fight in a short dress. "Well, now that I think 'bout it, I'm not really dressed properly to fight. How about, instead of fighting, you help me steal some sheep, and bring them into this base?"

I think it's a good idea. She should accept stealing sheep. It's funner than fighting.

[iElf]

The Din with penny gets up as she hears sal "Sal? where are you? what happened?"

[Beans]

... You want me to help you steal sheep.

Why sheep and not pants? Unless, of course, you're trying to... get sheep all over the base.

And there's still the question of why you'd fight me when all I'm doing is standing here.

Leaning against one of the spires, she says, "I heard there's a farm only a mile from here."

Finally, though, it's time to answer the last statement. "It's because I'm bored."

Din conjures her bow and Quiver "show me where!"

Inside the Great Hall, there's a circle of shiny black spikes. Inside that five yard radius circle, Pesty and Requiem are talking about pants.

Requiem, who is currently wearing a short white dress, shrugs and says, "I don't really know; I haven't worn pants with this body in a while." Other bodies, yes. But not this one. "Probably a 6, I think." Better than a 0, honestly. Since most people get confused when you say "My pants size is size 0."

She completely ignores the arrow.

Din tries to dispel them if possible "Pesty? are you ok?"

[Beans]

My daughter-in-law is sort of pointing an arrow at you.
I think at this point the pants no longer matter.

I'm fine, Din.

Great Hall

The spires don't dispel, because they're not magical. Unless you count spirits of the damned as magical, in which case a dispel spell is a one hit kill on everything.

"So no sheep, then?" Oh well. She'll bring this up later.

Requiem faces Din. "Hey, you. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find a map of this place? I'm a little lost."

Hmm...interesting. Her story keeps on changing with every person she talks to.

Din looks down at Sal "this is where I say "I don't trust you" isn't it sal?"

[Beans]

She told me she wanted to turn off the water heater.

You're lucky I don't have my tentacles any more, Miss No-Pants.

she pulls the arrow back a bit more "ok miss. you will let pesty go, you will leave here, and you will NEVER come back. understood?"

"Fine with me." She shrugs. "I never did make a good schoolgirl, even when I still lived in Japan." Which, she did.

"Now, if you ladies will excuse me, it's time for me to take my leave." This time, instead of snapping, she blinks, and all the black spikes turn back to purple mist, and rush out of the room at the speed a spirit can fly.

They go out to the main base, and begin setting up stolen movie cameras of various quality and tech level all across the base. She would have prefered it if she set them up herself, because tortured spirits usually have bad work ethic.

And, I was ninja'd, but she was going to go anyway. Like minds think a lot!

[Beans]

Pesty's eyes harden.
Mumble grumble can't call you stuff 'cause my daughter's here.

[iElf]

the bow disappears again, and Din sacks down to her knees "thank the gods she didn't fight...she would have defeated me easily "

[Beans]

Penny comes running out.
"Oh my gosh! Din, are you okay? I was so scared..."

Pesty sighs, then eyes Penny.

[Je dit Viola]

Requiem raises her eyebrow at Din.
"Hey...I haven't left yet. I'm just leaving right now. But, for your sake, I won't let your slip-up hurt you."

After the dark spirits set up all the cameras, they return to Requiem and reform in a pogo stick again. Black, and filled with tortured screams.

She brings it along with her, and finally leaves HALO.

Penny comes running out.
"Oh my gosh! Din, are you okay? I was so scared..."

Pesty sighs, then eyes Penny.

Din nods "I'm ok...you ok pesty? sal?"

[Beans]

Yeah...

A short guy in a delivery boy outfit knocks on the door. He's holding the leashes of seven sheep. Each sheep has a rather ridiculous looking weapon attached to it's back, along with an old-school boom box. They also happen to be wearing aviator glasses. I have the Battle Sheep you ordered... can someone sign for these?
