Godric seems to falter, but Ravina picks up. Uh...

SASO cleans his guns, and double-checks his E-Razor energy blades, since he senses a plot on the way.

The door swings open slowly and ominously and the weather outside changes to a storm just for effect. A dark, shadowy figure steps in.
Now this figure would be fairly creepy, except for the fact it doesn't even stand a foot tall.
The door shuts behind it, and the robed and hooded figure takes a few steps inside.

[Silas]

Silas raises an eyebrow and watches the robed and hooded man.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO's head instinctively turns to examine the hooded figure, then he returns to cleaning and fixing up his equipment.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Oh, about a month. Maybe more.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi watches the newcomer curiously.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Pack and get going, then. And congratulations, you two. Iames turns to observe the hooded man.

The fairies fly off to do some last-minute packing.

Aerin watches the hooded figure carefully.

((Sorry to anyone expecting something serious...))
The tiny, robed figure reaches for something at its side which Iames may recognize.
A lightsaber.
In a flurry of action, the Sith Squirrel activates its miniscule blade of light and leaps into the air, its hood falling back as it charges at the Chief of Police.

Regiji enters the station moments later and nearly steps on the tiny Ominous Cloaked Figure™. He pauses with one foot raised then just kind of slides backward for no readily apparent reason, where upon he lowers the offending appendage.

He glances down at the diminutive plot hook.

"Eerr... I was just wondering if you people found out what the fire archer guy was up to... is this a bad time?"

[Lord Magtok]

SASO takes out his E-Razor energy blades, and attempts to telekinetically toss the squirrel away from Iames and into a wall.

[Silas]

Silas stands, his right hand melting and reforming into a lightsaber's hilt. With the sound of an activating lightsaber, the weapon is activated, and a blue blade appears. Silas runs over and slashes at the Sith Squirrel

Iames sighs and activates a large number of protective powers. He tries to grab the diminutive villain in midair with telekinesis.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi reaches for her sword and remembers that it is not there. She grabs her gun off her desk.

Between his Force Jump, SASO's hurl backwards, and Iames's telekinesis in place, the Sith Squirrel finds himself in a bit of a spot as the forces combine and stick him in the air. He twitches his tail as he brings his tiny lightsaber up to block Silas's attack.

[Silas]

Silas grins as his blade is blocked, and swings his left hand, now a green lightsaber at the Sith Squirrel.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO helps with holding the squirrel in place while he looks for a pair of tiny, tiny manacles.

Are there manacles small enough for the squirrel around here?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin is alert and ready to act, her sword out, but she waits, hoping that the others have everything under control.

"Wow," Regiji chuckles at the antics. "I had heard Mr. Lucas had kept 're-interpreting' his original story, but a squirrel as Darth Sidious? That's going a little bit too far."

[AmberVael]

Verdandi holds her gun up and ready, but does not fire.

Iames diverts a small portion of his attention to trying to telekinetically disarm the squirrel.

Mindhunter, minding his own buisness up til now, graps a think og alchemists fire from amongst his rags and robes and throws it into the police station.

he follows after it, bent on saving the squirrel

The Sith Squirrel scrabbles his paws in the air, and throws his lightsaber at the green lightsaber while blasting at the other with Force Lightning to keep it at bay.

[Silas]

"You, new one, you're under arrest."

Silas turns both of his blades aside and ducks way under the squirrel, coming back up to attack mind hunter with both lightsabers.

mindhunter kicks at SASO and manifests his black katana into existance.

i will save you, furry feindy friend! under arrest? hardly!

[Lord Magtok]

The kick seems to only leave a painful ache wherever it hit.
To MH: What are you doing?
He attempts to hold the kender against a wall with telekinesis.
To everyone: Is there a pair of manacles small enough?

Regiji sighs and turns around as some new nefarious villain shows up. And sets the place on fire.

"Oh, that's wonderful!" Regiji moans as a shimmering blade of kinetic energy winks into his grasp. He rushes at MH, sliding forward across the ground. As he nears he makes a wide, arcing slash at the creature. "I certainly haven't lost enough sets of clothing to fire, now you just have to burn another?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

The alchemist's fire explodes, sending flaming goo through the station. Aerin casts createt water and douses the flames.

[Silas]

Silas wants to know what became of his attacks.

i'm just here to liberate the squirrel. i was walking past and thought he was so adoribly cute. i want him for my own.

he easily blocks the powerful but obvious attack. he looks to see if the squirrel was free yet.

silias is reminded that if the poster for mindhunter is posting while the poster for silias is editing his orriginal post, the poster for mindhunter doesnt see it. but the poster for mindhunter will take damage for it anyways.

argh! what are you, some kid? nice cross. but argh! nonetheless!

Verdandi spins her gun towards the new intruder and readies to fire.

[Silas]

Silas swings his two lightsabers again at MH, hoping that he'll actually respond this time.

Iames creates a set of tiny manacles and tosses them to SASO, still holding the squirrel in place.

[AmberVael]

The Sith Squirrel decides he doesn't like this.
He doesn't like this at all.
He fires force lightning at SASO, hoping to keep him at bay.

mindhunter turns and blocks one, and ducks under the other. his orriginal gash that silas seared before aches, and he just wants to save the poor defenceless squirrel!

why does everyone here have the same or similar powers to my soulknife ability!? holy cow!

he's not attacking at all, just trying to take a few so the squirell can get out. ((or get loose. or get bent... i'm tired and strange and should go to sleep, but i couldnt resist adding to the chaos when i saw it))

The force lightning is blocked with an energy blade.
SASO attempts to put the manacles on the squirrel.

As MH blocks the blow the image of Regiji fades, revealing a small fist sized cobalt blue orb hovering where he was. The stroke had been a feint.

"Eeerr, whoops!" the probe yells. "You didn't see that!"

A second stroke whizzes down at MH from above and behind, apparently Regiji is now dueling while standing in mid air. Upside down. The teleportation, if there even was one, wasn't detectable at all.

Oddly enough, Regiji's mind is completely undetectable to MH's psionics. It's as though he's fighting a mindless construct.

[Silas]

Silas jumps back and one of the lightsabers melts away, reforming into his left hand.

"You going to come quietly then?"

Iames continues to hold the squirrel. Both of you are under arrest.

One of SASO's blades turns to a gun, and he fires it at the MindHunter, while he tries to administer the manacles to the squirrel telekinetically.

Aerin leaps at Mindhunter, aiming a kick at his head.

The Squirrel uses the force to blast itself backwards to the wall, telekinesis or no telekinesis. It leaps straight at SASO, snapping its lightsaber back to its hand.

Verdandi fires two shots, one at each of the Mindhunter's legs.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO tries to block whatever the squirrel attacks, and then tries to telekinetically toss the vermin at MH's head.

the saber wound, the bullets from SASO, and the realization that its about 4-1 at least makes Mind Hunter think more about the big picture. specificly, what would happen to the Order of Evil if he disapeared? who would kill CabbageTheif? and why is he having an internal monolouge when he should be attempting to run away?

the tall, creepy character turns and says we will meet again!!!! someday soon you will see evidence of my work!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

he turns and makes a mad dash for the door. and throws another alchemist fire behind himself.

and after reading what was posted in between,, he collapses after being kicked in the head and shot in the legs.

With a mad, wierd chattering the Sith Squirrel whizzes through the air and lands on MH's face.

Iames tries to block MH's passage with a wall of ectoplasm across the door.

The vial hits Regiji directly in the back, where upon he promptly bursts into flames and drops to the floor.

"Gah! Put me out!"

He begins to run in circles flailing his arms rather than rolling on the floor, as the former is more humorous than the latter.

"Put me out! Put me out! Put me out! Put me out! Put me out!"

AH! WHATS IT DOING!?!?! it tickles my flat, three-slit nose....

Aerin tries to trip MH as he goes by.

The Squirrel scrabbles to its paws, probably scratching up MH's face as it does, then leaps at SASO, chattering and slicing with its saber.

SASO fires a gun pointed at the squirrel.

Verdandi pulls out her manacles and moves to the Mindhunter, planning to cuff it.

Silas steps over with Verdandi, ready to attack if needed.

Magtok to MH: Leave the station now! ESARS is waiting outside to escort you to the cornerstone!

Regiji, who, incidentally, is still on fire, continues to run in circles whilst flailing his arms.

Mind Hunter seems to be in a meditative state. the ioun stones spin aorund his head faster, and he stands up as if he doesnt feel the pain. he sees verdandi move towards him, and sighs. he doesnt have the resources to fight everyone, and the only known exit (without magic) is covered with ectoplasm.

i turn myself in, officer.

i cant get out, and i wont do anything else! not without backup at least. i cant fight this, and as it is i can still try and talk my way out of it.

The Sith squirrel blocks the shot with his lightsaber and continues hurtling through the air towards SASO.

Verdandi kneels and cuffs MH. It can feel an antimagic and antipsionic effect emananting from the manacles.

Aerin casts create water in the air above Regiji, creating 20 gallons of water above his head that promptly obey the law of gravity.

SASO rolls out of the way.

Iames tries to disarm the squirrel with telekinesis.

The Squirrel hits the wall and redirects its lunge towards Verdandi. It combats Iames's telekinesis with the force.

he looks down and sighs. this was a stupid idea, helping a fellow villian it never met on a whim. stupid, stupid. and now there is a chance that he will never succeed on his task.

now that i am no longer a danger, may i receive medical attention? as soon as my meditative state wears out i am going to collapse....

The flames extinguish with a hiss and Regiji jogs to a stop. He looks rather dejectedly at the charred remains of his blue tunic. The fibrous charcoal-grey fimbrii weave body suit under the 'civilian' clothing is now plainly obvious.

Regiji sighs.

"And there goes another one. That's the third tunic to get set on fire since I got here..." he glances up at Aerin. "Thanks, by the way."

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris didn't bother to land. He came literally flying through the door, a flask of holy water in hand. He dashed as close to the fire as he dared to go, and paused to assess the situation.

[So, would casting holy storm in here to put it out be overkill?]

[AmberVael]

We can manage- Verdandi sees the squirrel lunging towards her and spins out of the way, kicking at it as it passes.

((points to wall of ectoplasm blocking door))

Iames waves a hand and the fire goes out.

Aerin looks down at MH and begins binding his wounds.

The squirrel dodges the kick, only to realize that it is in the air and can't dodge. It slams against the wall and drops its lightsaber, sliding to the ground and chattering angrily.

Iames retrieves the lightsaber.

Verdandi rushes her implausable enemy and tries to pin it to the wall or ground, whichever is closer.

Lord Magtok to MH: Once they finish healing you, escape through a wall. I repeat, smash your way through a wall.

SASO awakens from his coma, and fires several rounds at the squirrel.

i would love to, but i'm cuffed, and hsave moderate strength. and i cannot use any of my psionics...

i am sorry, ally. i dont think there is excaping this one unless you can get more people. plan for an excape when i go to court.... like, intercepting us on the way to the courthouse. that could work.

Aerin nods. Though the fight that just happened was hardly a duel.

"You know, honestly, I would have thought that after that whole 'Greedo shoots first' fiasco that George would have learned his lesson." An unseen force begins accelerating the squirrel downward with the net effect of seemingly increasing gravity several fold. "I can just imagine what the response of all those sweaty Star Wars nerds will be once they hear about this."

The squirrel squirms but can't get free between the pin Verdandi has it in, and Regiji's force.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok:I will see what I can do, MindHunter.
Don't tell them anything if they choose to interrogate you.

Greedo shoots first fiasco?

He tries to place the manacles on the squirrel with telekinesis.

he nods, then is excorted to his jailcell (or wherever. bedtime for the kender... i just ran a campaign today and tonight. exhausted, with images of baby dragons and a bully centaur picking on a young unicorn dance through my head. hardly sugarplums.

"Great. Trapped in here with a psychotic squirrel," Gaheris grumbled as he pulled out a blackjack. He flipped the nonlethal weapon into his right hand as he circled around near the blocked door, ready to club the squirrel if it started to escape.

Depositing MH in Cell 1, Aerin yawns.

Verdandi stands back, readying herself for anything, just in case.

[Rebonack]

Regiji glances over at Omega.

"You would think so, but apparently Greedo has really bad aim and Han Solo has a very flexible neck," Regiji shrugs. "Who knows, maybe one of his ancestors was a giraffe alien or something."

Iames sighs and goes over. He picks up the cocooned squirrel and tosses it into Cell 2, creating a wall of ectoplasm just outside the bars to prevent it from slipping between them.

Silas goes back to his desk and begins to fill out some paperwork.

"You have it easy here," Regiji says with a grin. "There was a pikachu parody of Jean Luc Picard who fought with a Staff Weapon in the last hub-realm I was unfortunate enough to get dumped in."

He nods in response to the statement that the archer is still dead.

"Huh... well... that frees up the rest of my evening then..."

The blue orb from earlier bobs happily over to Regiji.

"I was helpful!" the stray probe squeals in delight moments before Regiji snatches it out of mid-air.

You know, I think I actually do need to sleep. Sorry to leave you alone. Verdandi smiles at him and goes through the portal to Iames's realm.

Regiji shrugs, gathers the gear from the remains of his scorched backpack, and walks out into the Streets.

Gaheris shook his head in bemusement and left the station again.

(I went to sleep without giving Hawk an exit from the station...guess he's been standing here doing nothing for hours)

Hawk sits down at an available chair, waiting.

Hawk stands up. The police station is dead. He'd return tomorrow to see if he could get inducted. For no, he left, leaving only his regards.

Silas wakes up, and after reviewing the list once more, he leaves the station.

SASO wakes up, and reviews the cases, waiting for the rest of the world to awaken.

Gwen, Rain and Aramir walk into the station. Gwen hunts until she finds Ravina in a closet with Godric. She quickly shuts the door, smiles and they leave the station, looking for Iames.

Gaheris walked in the door, the corpse over his shoulder.

"Hello? Is anyone here?"

The mutt wakes up Yes, how can I... oh you have a corpse.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris grunted as he moved towards the mortuary door. "Yeah, found this one in the men's restroom at Trog's. Cause of death seems to be that gigantic hole in the back of his head. I'd guess a mind flayer, except I'm fairly certain one would have been seen." He set the body down on a slab.

"Also, I still need to make a statement about the flame archer that was killed during the arrest attempt yesterday."

Hawk enters the police station, finally seeing signs of life inside.

"Captain Iames, are you in he-" He looks at Gaheris and the corpse lying on the table, "...here?"

[McBish]

Oh yeah. Great all we need another killer on the streets. Thanks for the help. The mutt calls one of the faires over to take the statement since he can't write. Iames isn't here can I help you?

[Nevrmore]

Hawk snaps out of staring at the corpse and looks at the mutt, "Uhhh..yeah, I was told yesterday that Captain Iames was the only one here who could swear me into the force. I haven't seen him all day.."

[McBish]

Yeah him or Narfang. I haven't seen him around either. Hey Iames you listening?

Hawk receives the badge from Iames, attaching it to his collar.

"Sorry, sir." Hawk says, trying to loosen up, as it were, "I was in the military for a large part of my life."

Iames nods and smiles. No need to apologize. I trust you'll be a valuable addition to the force. Is there anything else?

"I suppose not, sir."

There are barracks here if you need a place to stay, and the fairies will file your reports. I think that's all. The first page has all the information you need, really. Good night, then.

"Thank you, sir. If you don't mind, I'm going to go have a little celebration." With that, Hawk leaves the station.

Not at all. Iames disappears once Hawk is gone.

Gaheris gave his statement on the flaming arrow archer, and how he appeared in the alleyway (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29268&page=44) before launching his attack.

He also gave a separate one on finding the body, and how he'd seen the man alive (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30461&page=22) in Trog's before finding the body. [The body was found on the next page.]

After filling out all the paperwork and expounding on some of the features of the crime scene to the nearest available officer, he left the station.

SASO heads to the sation and goes to sleep at his desk while filling out a report.

Damn Magtok implanting nightmares in my subconcious!
Since he's awake he finishes that report, and decides to shine his guns.

With that done, and his player still awake, SASO decides to grab a quick drink (maybe a conversation while he's at it) at Trog's.

He heads out the door.

Hawk walks into the police station. There were no officers inside, only fairies. He hadn't come to talk, anyway. He figured he'd take Iames up on his offer to use the barracks. Finding a place to lay his peak hat and trenchcoat, he begins wandering around. "Where are the barracks, anyway?"

[Lord Magtok]

SASO walks in with a dead body, and puts it in the mortuary.
It's going to be real hard explaining that to Iames.
Whats so hard about it? You executed your opposition, and now you've won. Rejoice agent, for the battle is won!
There is nothing to celebrate until I find you and hunt you down for all the innocent lives you've slain. I'm going to the cornerstone, just you wait. I'll go there and finish you off for good.

After dropping the body off at the mortuary, SASO decided it was time to sleep. He headed to the quarters, and his player logged out.

He awoke the next morning to a taunting message from Magtok in his head.
Up already agent? The mighty sleep in, and allow inferiors to toil while they slumber.
First, that makes no sense Magtok. Second I'm not evil like you, and third, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

SASO returns and goes to his desk where he has a player-induced coma.

Iames and Eralin appear in the station. Krysta, get me some bandages. Now.

The fairy flies into the storeroom and returns with bandages.

"AH, WHAT THE HELL!" Eralin yells at the knowing of magic on him "Im going to freaking KILL you!" He then tries to jump on Iames, but falls to the floor because of his injuries.

No offense, but I doubt you could. I am far more than I appear to be. Iames takes the bandages and begins to bind the wound in Eralin's knee. Your name?

[Carrion_Humanoid]

"Eralin Stonehedge, genious and ladiesman. Servent to none, master to himself" Eralin says with precision, as if hes repeated it over and over before.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames nods and finishes binding the wound, then hoists Eralin up and guides him over to a cell. Krysta flies over and opens the door.

Eralin rests on the wall and looks at his arrester "So how long?"

24 hours. Iames pushes Eralin into the cell and removes the manacles. Krysta closes the door and locks it shut, then flies back to her desk.

Iames turns to Krysta's desk. I was in Trog's when the man named Eralin Stonehenge tried to attack me for no reason.

Krysta writes all this down, and Iames disappears.

Iames appears in the storage room and places Eralin's revolvers in a box, then disappears again.

Iames appears again and deposits a small bag. That's Loki's bail. Begin collecting the paperwork and prepare to file a case against Loki and Wukei.

Krysta nods. Right away, sir.

Iames disappears yet another time.

Eralin slips a lockpick from his boot and starts to pick the lock.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO awakens from his trance, and spots the diabolical simu'ninja.

I wouldn't do that if I were you.

[Carrion_Humanoid]

Eralin quickly snaps his fingers and the lockpick shoots into his sleeve "Do what?" He asks.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO isn't amused.
You know perfectly well what. Hand it over.

Eramil sighs and hands the person his Lockpick.

He takes the lockpick

Thats better. No point in getting yourself in more trouble. Its not like you have to stay here that long.

"24 hours? Psh, thats a long time!"

I come from a world where any violation of law usually meant death. Even jaywalking.

Eramil sits down in a corner and digs in his pocket. He drops what he finds on the floor, some screws, three marbles, some wood chips some rubber bands, some strings, some sprins and a windup key.

Eramil then begins tinkering with the peaces.

SASO leaves the station.

Eramil hears the man leaving and pulls another lockpick from his boot and attempts to pick the lock again(20 mintutes)

Hawk comes out from the barracks, rubbing his eyes. The beer must have taken a toll on him to put him out that long.

"Hey, what are you doing?" He says, looking incredulously at the man in the cell.

[AmberVael]

Dios comes into the station and goes into Iames's office, despite the protests of the faeries, drops a letter on his desk, and then vanishes.

[Nevrmore]

Hawk turns away from the man in the cell to look at Dios as he enters and so quickly exits.

"Hmph." He says. He tells a fairy to keep a watch on the man in the cell and heads out the door.

[Isacus]

Gutbok enters the station and heads for his desk. He starts reading trough some papers. He later heads out for some patroling.

Eralin again snaps his fingers and the lockpick shoots up his sleeve. He then goes back to tinkering with the parts.

Hawk enters the station.

"Now, where's that fil-What the hell!" He shouts, seeing the prisoner trying to escape again.

"Give me that!" He snatches the lockpick from him.

[Isacus]

Gutbok returns to the station.

Verdandi steps out of the portal in Iames's office and goes to her desk.

[Isacus]

Gutbok sees Verdandi.

Great. Sergeant Verdandi! I have a little suggestion!

[Nevrmore]

Hawk turns from the person continuously failing his jailbreaks. "Good morning, Sergeant." He nods to Verdandi.

[AmberVael]

Good morning. Yes Officer? Verdandi looks at Gutbok with a small smile.

[Isacus]

Yeah, I just walked past Kenyon's gunnery shop, and the place has noone inside and is open. People can randomly take guns from there, so I think we should close the place.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi raises an eyebrow. If you had looked a little more closely, you would have realized that there were not any guns left to steal. Also, I believe Darryl is still there.

[Nevrmore]

"Nothing left to steal? Did someone pack up shop or what?"

[Isacus]

Oh, yeah... Well, I was just being cautious...

Gutbok heads back to his desk.

Verdandi sighs and looks down at her desk. Kenyon had his shop cleaned out by a group who wanted to take over the gun market in Town. He had just dealt with them when the incident with the marshals occured.

[Kenyon]

((Er, actually, this cleanout was the Kender's fault.))

[Nevrmore]

"...I see." Hawk didn't ask about the marshals...he was, at one point, a marshal. "So, have you heard about the new case?"

[Isacus]

Not me. Do tell, I'm in need of some action.

What is it? Verdandi looks less than enthused.

Iames appears in his office and sees that Krysta has organized the files, just as he asked. He looks through them.

((It feels weird discussing a case that another one of my own characters has committed, especially when I'm supposed to be ignorant about the details))

"This man brought in a body with the back of the skull and the brain missing, as if an illithid had gotten hold of it, although how one could be above ground I don't know. I found the same man outside a couple hours ago, and he said that the other night one of our officers found a deer with it's brain missing in much the same way. Furthermore, he said there was a skirmish between some deranged man and that very same officer which ended with what he describes as 'a purple ball' shooting out of his head, leaving the exact same type of injury."

Iames nods to himself and disappears.

[Isacus]

That's nasty...

Gutbok looks down.

And it's got to hurt.

Verdandi gives Hawk an odd look. Now that sounds unusual.

[Nevrmore]

"Indeed." Hawk nods. "I've been thinking about it; Was it some kind of mind control? But I've never heard about a mind controlling technique that leaves the victims dead afterwards, much less in such a gruesome fashion."

I have never heard of something that might do that. Verdandi works over the description in her mind.

[Isacus]

Me neither. Did you take any evidence?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames appears in his office again and remembers that he has to raise and question some people, so he goes to the mortuary.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters the station.

[AmberVael]

Agent Stick? I will speak to him the next time he is here and get what information I can. Verdandi makes a note for herself, then glances up as Kyrian comes in. She shrinks back into her chair.

Hawk shakes his head, "The man said he found the body in the bathroom, and I was going to head out there to check it out, but then I.." Hawk coughed, "..Started this conversation."

He sighed. "I wanted to get a chance to speak with the officer who was involved in the engagement..I think the man I spoke to said his name was Agent Stick. Haven't seen him around, though."

[Kyrian]

Verdandi, I'm here to turn myself in.

[Lord Iames Osari]

A man was thrown at Lillah's house the other day, and got up and attacked me. I killed him, and it seemed that he'd was controlled by another creature.

Silas enters the station and notices how busy it seems today.

Bite me if I'm wrong but this sounds like the same thing.

Wait, he was being controlled by another creature? Verdandi sits up straight and gets ready to write. Tell me the entire incident.

Hawk turns to Kyrian, his attention having been caught.

[Kyrian]

Well, I was inside Lillah's house, when there was a loud thump as this man hit the side of the house. I went outside and I saw this man I'd seen earlier. He's got a damn nasty attitude, and started giving me lip. He attacked me, stating something along the lines of going to enjoy killing me. There was a fight, and he tried to use psionics against me...and you know, give my player a minute to find the link.

[Silas]

Silas moves over to his desk, and watches Kyrian. He gets his manacles ready.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi writes furiously and thinks the situation over while she waits for Kyrian to continue.

[Nevrmore]

((Pfft, you totally threatened him first))

Hawk doesn't have a pen and paper to write down the details, but he makes mental notes in his head: The two situations are definitely not coincidental.

Iames psionically repairs the damage to the man's head, then raises him.

Verdandi puzzles over the story, trying to understand whether Kyrian is actually guilty or not. Kyrian, I am not sure we can arrest you for that. It was in self-defense, from what you have said.

"Wait, wait, wait." Hawk says, waving a hand at Silas, "You said you saw the being inside the man's head??"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian walks over to Verdandi's desk, and leans on it.

And I came...to apologize to you.

((P.S. If this were a real life scenario I'm pretty sure Kyrian would get arrested. He'd just have to plead Not Guilty at the trial on the grounds of self defense))

Verdandi loses her confidence and her wings arch up behind her in a defensive manner. I- I- Kyrian...

Verdandi does not manage to speak, but she nods to Kyrian.

Gutbok is just standing there, listening.

I hope that we could be friends, but I can understand if we can't.

Kyrian turns and heads for the door.

Hawk becomes visibly annoyed that his questions on an important case are being ignored. "Um, sir? Can you save the apologies for a time when we're not trying to solve a case that might involve a murderous, brain-possessing being?"

[Isacus]

Gutbok blocks the door.

I'm sorry sir, you can't leave just yet.

[Kyrian]

((He's whispering to her, if that wasn't obvious))

"I may not be an expert on the law around here, but I'm pretty certain someone has to be alive for you to murder them," the voice comes from outside the window, apparently in response to Kyrian's earlier statment. It sounds like its coming from something large, which it is.

How long the four ton bio-mechanical draconic creature had been standing outside the window is a mystery. About as much of a mystery as how someone could possibly miss the four ton draconic creature standing outside the window.

"I encountered a winged humanoid last night in the process of being ejected from Goldenshadow Psionics. He had had a parasite of some kind inside his presumably otherwise empty skull. It sounds like this creature is really getting around."

[AmberVael]

Kyrian, wait. I just- I don't- Verdandi rises gracefully from her chair and walks a short distance towards him.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian turns, and waits for Verdandi to continue.

"What?? Damn..." Hawk thinks. "Maybe there's more than one of these things? Do you think just one of them could go through so many in so short a time?"
