A thread for posting pictures of yourself/other playgrounders, and video/voice recordings.

Please stay on topic; if the conversation strays from either posting media or discussing such media, take it to Random Banter.

Once again, it appears to have fallen to me to start the new thread. As such, here it is. And yes, I do stand behind my comment in the title... Everyone here is too fancy.
Housekeeping and formalities neatly brushed aside, let the pictures (and other media) commence!

I will be taking suggestions for a more witty title. It's late, and I couldn't think of anything...

Vodka is far to strong for my tastes; I prefer wine, rum and coke, and kahlua and cream. I also don't drink but once or twice a year and it's only a glass or two.

That's barbaric, actually. :smalltongue::smallbiggrin:

And rather unhealthy too, alcohol + some juice, syrup, or whatever one makes drinks from... They usually are high on glycemic index as well, so drinks as result are usually diabeetus combo.:smallwink:

Interesting. Tusks can be on the upper jaw too, as with walruses. Fangs never extend outside the mouth, and are used solely for hunting purposes. Tusks, on the other hand, are extended outside the mouth and are more applicable that fangs.

Nevertheless, I would've called them fangs too, just like Spanish Paladin

So, I was opening up imgur for RB-related reasons, when I realized I had neglected to share any of my Halloween/summer photos. PHOTODUMP ENSUES.

I was a flapper! Unfortunately, I have no shots of the dress, but it was awesome, very twenties and ridiculously hard to put on for a single piece dress.

From my summer, I ended up being in a play about pirates, jumping into a lake, hosting a French exchange student, and going to Amsterdam, in precisely reverse order of this sentence.

http://i.imgur.com/P6HrEcv.jpg
Here be my costume. The pirates were divided evenly between pirates wearing white canvas shirts and black canvas. Naturally, I ended up being so tiny that I wasn't even allowed to choose, I had to go for black.

The pants are actually a single piece of cloth, which was amusingly complicated to put on for a pair of pants. The clothe would be tied behind your waist, then looped up from between your legs and tied again, giving you very long pants with slits all the way up. Then, you'd have to grab the corners of the Stupid Pants (as they were called) on each legs and tie them up by your calves at an odd angle. However, after you put them on, they were really damn comfortable, so I wore them in between performances.

Whereas I'm nowhere near the center of my country, and yet am still roughly about the middle in terms of north & south, and reaching the southern coast for traditional family gathering day of gluttony took me well over 10 hours. Granted, part of that was avoiding the part of the Interstate that was flat-out STOPPED for over an hour due to a horrible wreck. XD

Hair pick? Also, my hair isn't very conductive to floofing right now. I need to give it a few days after my last shower for it to feel sufficiently attracted to itself to curl satisfactory even after having been tampered with...

Well, I suppose I could post the nice picture.

The good picture. The one taken in daylight, with a clean shirt and a purposeful eye for arrangement.

The lie.

But let's be realistic. Let's post the real picture. The one taken off my computer's actual webcam in actual posting conditions. The one that proves, more than anything else, that my life is a found-footage horror film just waiting for a director.

@Serps: At first I wasn't sure if shorter hair would be a good idea, but now I think it could prove to be rather splendid. Of course, now you're going to have to get a feather to wear in your hair to complete the look.

You sir, are gorgeous. Probably too young for me (unless you're older than me and look youthful, I'm 20 xP) but damn, you're just..:smalleek::smallamused:

Rutsky! Long time no stuff!

Went to a wizardly birthday gathering tonight. I redid my old Rainforest Fairy outfit as a mage.

When I went back home six months back I stopped at CVS to buy a notebook. The cashier asked, "Hey, do you go to the local high school?"

It was the day I'd graduated college.

I'm 22, but no, I've never looked it. By the time I'm in a nursing home I might look 21.

Serpaderp! Been ages. Glad to see people still around.

Nice! Also, for some reason, I think it is the angle and the way the hair is laying, you neck looks a bit thin.

Dashing none-the-less.

Thanks!

And yes, I think the angle is the what's causing it, even though my hair probably helps it as well. Observing me from that angle when I've turned my head like that makes my neck looks rather thin. It looks more normal when I'm standing straight toward you, but I must say that I haven't really got a lot of muscles or other matter filling it out, as made evident by my rather prominent Adam's apple...

Also, nice to see someone else who's made a messy hair their hairstyle for a change! :3

Cool! I especially like the second picture. Ahh, you look so cute in it! :3

Also, hmm, your dress reminds me quite a lot of mum's wedding dress (which then became aunt's wedding dress as well), which she made herself. I like it! :3

Actually, I like all of it! Looking really good! :3

My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a land called...Westeros?:smallconfused::smallamused:

You're one dapper pirate, aren't you. Now, if we could just make you tiny enough to fit on the shelf and then clone you, it'd be perfect. A tiny, rum-crazed dashing pirate is a must-have for every modern household.

Also, it's funny, because when the name Westeros is pronounced in Swedish, it sounds very similar to "Västerås", which is a Swedish city of scant notability... :smallwink::smalltongue:

Looking good! Did you tie those red ribbons into your socks, or are they simply a part of them? I like such small details... :3

And fun to hear your date went well! :3

I need more pretty socks, all mine keep getting holes in them...

Incidentally, in that picture is also a drawing Concrete from this very forum made for me of a character I played in a PBP for a while.
