Saurous comes to a skidding halt at the Cave's entrance, sighing at the sight of Moon trying to kill the shoggoth with a sword. Hopefully she won't get her face melted off before he can properly intervene.

The necromancer looks at his spellbook for a few seconds more, making a few gestures with his free hand. A shell of green energy encloses itself around his form before vanishing, as he presumably casts some sort of spell for corrosion resistance. Time will tell if it does any good against the shoggoth.
