In the Lobby:
Grim assigns rooms and presents keys. "Arthur will show you to your rooms."

The doorman pops up behind you two as if from thin air. "This way madam and sirs." He takes your luggage and leads each of you to your rooms. They are simple, but clean, with a small but soft bed, a nightstand with a decorative candle, a thick furry rug, an empty wash basin, and a pitcher of water. There is a wardrobe in the room with mirrors inside the doors. There is no art on the wall, but there is a shuttered window on the wall and some heavy curtains. Next to the door is a writing desk with an inkwell, 5 sheets of paper, a quill, an hourglass, and a wax tray. The standard rooms don't have private restrooms, but there is a bathing tub. Arthur shows you the restrooms at the end of the hall. There is also a small wood burning stove and a box full of coal in the corner. It's not enough to cook with, but one could heat water or warm up a room.

After you have a minute to settle in, a maid shows up at your door with some soup.
