If you are in the air, you fall to the ground.

If you are burning in the air, you burn to the ground.

In fact, the only position in which you cannot be burned to the ground is when you are in the ground.

Given that all BoffTec™ technology is fireproof, I'd say you may have some difficulty burning me to the ground.
