Nice hit, Vincent. Vincent's counter-attack hits the beast on the spikes on its body, shattering them and causing the creature to lose the charge it had built up. Sure, the lunge is still happening, but afterwards the beast starts limping away from Vincent, wanting to recover from the wounds inflicted upon its body.
