That reminds me a bit of Sokka from Avatar the Last Airbender in his earlier episodes. Maybe Spike will get some more respect this season? The upcoming comic-bookish episode might be another one for him to shine. He seems to be the savvy one for that.
Well since he's more/less the resident boy some savvy there would make a bit of sense.
