Chuck just crosses his arms and quietly stands there.

"None of your business, kid. Run along."

He just gives the instructor a cool stare in return.
Chuck waits until the group has moved on to sigh.

"I just don't want to make extra work for the maintenance people. You were lucky the window was open this time. Anyway. Are you still planning to go on a run?"

The question was delivered neutrally; Chuck's not pushing Naito one way or another.

"Relax. I'm not going to break anything. I checked."

More accurately, the window being open is what attracted Naito's attention in the first place.

"...Yeah. Need to move."

Assuming Chuck is coming along for the ride, Naito sets off at a fast but sustainable pace.
