    Approaching the face on the wall for a more thorough examination, Louise feels a slight click beneath her feet. Looking down, she sees the outline of a previously hidden pressure plate, but before she can call out a warning the hallway begins to rumble. The face upon the wall comes alive, its mouth distending into a death wail and releasing a blast of terrible wind. Any exposed flames are extinguished instantly, and a glow from the carving fills the darkness. Each eye radiates a kaleidoscopic rainbow patter, the seven colors weaving together much like the magical auras in Corinne's vision, their complex dance an assault on the mind.
