Bending over Louise, Simone's hands glow with the warm light of the dawn. Under the party's watchful eyes, the bones in Louise's shattered limbs shift beneath her skin, sliding back into place with faint scraping sounds. Unseen to all, shards of bone remove themselves from a punctured kidney, and dangerous swelling deflates to the normal flush of life. It devours the fullness of Pelor's daily gifts, but as Simone falls back with a sigh Louise's eyes flicker open. As she blinks to focus, a brutal hematoma in her eye fades to nothingness, and her first conscious breath comes without pain.
