Labyrinth is every inch a coming-into-maturity story, and I don't mind one bit. (Plus I can't think of a decent plot-based explanation for Jareth to spend the climactic confrontation making surreally-staged come-ons to Sarah.)

Theory: adopted.

The Labyrinth taught me that using ones imagination is not limited to childhood.
