Certain high members of the Commonwealth are afraid that our neighbors in space pose a threat. Explorers are equipped with hidden weapons, just in case. Of course, these are solely for self-defense. Rumors that they have been used by certain crew members aboard the Paraskeva the Wise to mutiny and strike out on their own are demonstrably false. No need to worry, citizens!

4. [Intrigue] Survey nearby systems
As the great exploration missions to faraway worlds are launched, many ships are dedicated to a simpler task: examining Zara*'s nearer neighbors. The Galactic Survey Corps, a new branch of the Department of Space, begins to map and record the 47 star systems of G25. Further surveys will be necessary: a perfect task for the more adventurous citizens of the Commonwealth!

  033-S1 appears to be an abandoned space station composed primarily of steel orbiting the planet 033-2. It appears undamaged from the outside, but closer inspection revealed that it has been heavily irradiated at one point and that its outer walls were irregularly perforated, presumably by micrometeorites or possibly shrapnel. The interior is completely depressurized. No living creatures or corpses were found, though further study is recommended.

• The Zavest and Sonoss Families are united by the joyous marriage of Dalimil Zavest and Vassura Sonoss! The celebratory mood and hopes that an alliance between the Departments of Censorship and Communication might result in consistent propaganda for once are destroyed days later, though, when a Zavest prankster paints graphic depictions of the newlyweds across the front of a Department of Communication building. In retribution, all mentions of the Zavest Family in the news are replaced with another Family for two weeks.
