1: [Intrigue 5] Uncover a Caller Fragment.
With the sudden advent of Gravity Latch Drive technology, it is at last possible to retrieve something long since lost. Without further delay, the Most Esteemed College of Cosmic History charters a government vessel and heads off into the 'unknown' to hunt down one of the lost Treasures of Amanyk. It should be just a few systems over. Maybe. At least, that's where the distress signal from the last Imperial Treasure Fleet originated.

2: [Economy] Expedition to Region G7. Failure
After much discussion between the Imperial Census Bureau, the Guild of Assayers, the College of Cosmic History and the College of Astrometry it is agreed to split the task of mapping surrounding galactic regions between them. Care is taken to avoid running into the surveyors and explorers of other powers at this time.
The first to head out is the Imperial Census Bureau aboard a converted passenger vessel dubbed the Dawn Sailor under the command of Inquisitor Valess.

3: [Economy] Expedition to Region G11. Success
The second expedition, a more carefully planned trip, is undertaken by the Guild of Assayers. Their vessel, the Viridian Sunset, is custom built, though small, and is under the command of Pretalla Juran, a retired naval officer.

4: [Diplomacy] Inquest to Region F10. Failure
They are followed almost immediately by Professor Kiznat aboard a small, one person ship he called the Sun Drop. The College immediately regrets putting him in charge of the mission.

5: [Diplomacy] Inquest to Region H10. Success
The Most Esteemed College of Astrometry waits until well after the other organisations have set out. They dig up a derelict scientific vessel, the Boundless Horizon, from its hangar on Soldaria. After much work clearing dust and bringing it back online to an acceptable thirty-two percent functionality they attach a GLD and head out almost a year after everyone else.
