    1. [Diplomacy] Attend Sai's Coronation - News that the raspberry skinned princess Sai for whom the Chairman's flagship was named was to play host to her coronation as Empress in an extravagant ceremony on the Drocc homeworld prompts the Chairman to petition senior committees for approval to visit the distant Drocc planet on official interplanetary business. A series of genuine political reasons are presented to justify this expense and the long absence of the Chairman from Terron affairs from solidifying relations with the nearby Vilari Sodality to strengthening bonds of Oneship among old and new adherents to the unifying ideology. Although most are quick to stir rumors about the real reason for Vaou's desire to lead the expedition himself ultimately it is decided that maintaining a positive diplomatic reputation was a worthwhile pursuit and resources are allocated for the Chairman to take a small unarmed cruiser and ambassadorial compliment through the Relays to the distant planet of Droccen.

      • With unanimous resolution from the existing membership welcome the Droccen Imperium formally into the Uplift Chorus

    2. [Diplomacy] Claim S9 on ideological grounds TN: 12 Roll: 17 - Introductions are made between the Rocthurhi and the refugees of the nearby metal-rich sector who recently had suffered a devastating nuclear exchange much as the SPR's homeworld had not long ago. The tenets of the One filtered through the political organization of the People's Republic are introduced alongside ships come to ferry the refugee populace to newly constructed mining stations in the mineral rich asteroid belt of the region. Although discussions were not yet finalized for the addition of the sector to the SPR's sphere of influence the prospects were promising as the locals seemed intrigued by the political organization structured around fair and equal distribution of work and reward through a much more flattened form of societal strata.
    3. [Economy] Buyout S6 Crystal Skulls TP 2 TN: 12 Roll: 14 - Concerned over the destructive capabilities demonstrated by the crystallized world SPR agents are dispatched to acquire and return these so-called "crystal skulls" for study back in the Terron System. These agents were also advised to make an inclusive report regarding any political activity among the non-crystalized worlds for study and adaptation in the upcoming year.
    4. [Philosophy] Convert T6 from Open to the One TN: 12 Roll: 12 - Although the denizens of the Crystal Sphere as it has come to be informally known were all deceased and thus non-receptive to talk of the One the Couriers despite their haughtiness were acquainted with SPR policy and ideology as well as thinking creatures capable of adopting a shared ideological outlook. The male Couriers as well as the female relay herself are spoken to by senior thinkers and philosophers in the hope of convincing the local mercantile force to adopt a more unified view in line with SPR, Rocthurhi, and Tezh thought.
    5. [Philosophy] Convert T8 from Open to the One using Tezh Phy TN: 12 Roll: 21 - On request of the Sisterhood the SPR reaches out to the Tezh inviting a senior philosopher from the ideological head to accompany an SPR mission to the deeply divided sector splitting the Terron System from Thylla. This cold war between such industrious peoples offered no benefit to either side, Republic thinkers argue on each of the clashing planets, and rather than continue a divisive and destructive war for supremacy the natives of both worlds would be better served unifying under the ideology of the One. Thneedz were a marvelous invention, simultaneously produced by both systems, and allowing a petty difference such as who did or did not paint stars on their public works to keep an otherwise prosperous peoples disunited harmed both solar systems more than helped them. Progress in spreading this message is rapid as both planet's denizens were war weary and the Tezh arbiter selected by the Consensus proves especially compelling in their arguments to disarm the Sneetch & GeiselTM defense systems at least temporarily to test the waters of peace for the first time in over a century.

    • Expeditions by the Sublime People’s Republic find themselves in the ruins of a recently deceased civilization. While the causes of this civilization’s demise are currently unknown, all that remains of the currently crystallized remains of the inhabitants. Cities, people, pets, even trees have been converted into a strange crystalline substance. The skulls of the former inhabitants in particular have been shown to have...interesting, properties. In fact one of the explorers was nearly slain by a by an animated crystal skull after attempting to handle it without protection, nearly transforming into crystal themselves. In the midst of the chaos the CMC has established a Relay not far from the crystalized world and currently possess several space stations in the vicinity that host a small remnant refugee population. (SPR discovers T6 contains a [Great] resource of Crystal Skulls of which TP 1 is owned by CmC, an Open Learning Center, a CmC Relay, and no Units! SPR has +1 to Buyouts in T6 for one Round!)
    • Rocthurhi ships sent to scout the sector between their own and the Sublime People’s Republic discover a sector whose most habitable planet scans as highly irradiated. More in depth scans reveal a world formerly prosperous with intelligent life to have only a decade prior destroyed itself through nuclear war. A few survivors are registered and contacted by the Rocthurhi diplomats who are seen as possible saviors by some and the finishing hand of annihilation by others. With little other options forward however a majority of survivors seem eager to cooperate with these alien visitors and discuss the possibility for Rocthurhi space travelers granting the survivors the means to permanent access to a nearby asteroid belt who’s occasional rogue asteroid had provided a uniquely valuable metal in ages past. The mining of this metal might offer a chance to trade and rebuild from their devastation, a recovery that could be aided by the Rocthurhi. (RTH discovers S9 which contains a [Good] resource of Boreal Metal & an Open Learning Center! RTH has +1 to Establish a Claim in S9 for one Round!)
    • A senior member of the Central Committee, Patricia Tats, has begun to express concern over the Chairman's lengthy duration heading up the CLCPP. Though her criticisms are cloaked in praise for Vaou's securing access to Rocthurhi methane to fuel the Matter Rearragners and building of the Uplift Chorus alliance among the galactic neighbors pointed remarks regarding Vaou's purported relationship with the imperially titled and presumably minded Droccen tied with veiled accusations of tyrannical "Great Man" tendencies conflicting with the will of the people become more common place. Tats was a highly valued scientist and political theorist as well as a long-serving member on the Central Committee granting her insulation from being labelled a reactionary as one less privileged in SPR society might experience however tensions are certainly escalated by her rhetoric as two factions quietly appear splitting between support for Tats and the Chairman.
    • Access to a steady supply of fuel, however smelly it may have been, allows SPR researchers to resume testing of improvements to the Matter Rearranger design. Higher complexity atomic compounds including live organic structures are created in a small number of lab tests although the power drain is significant. It is suggested in some more fringe publications that the Matter Allocation Committee was sponsoring highly secretive experiments to not merely refine the ability of MRs but to wholly transform their capabilities into conveyors capable of taking an atomic snapshot and transferring or duplicating these items over vast physical distances. The ability to boldly follow scientific possibilities unshackled by fuel demands elates many within the SPR science and engineering fields.
