    1. [Diplomacy 10] Declare Symphony a Galactic Empire with General Secretary Jerry Gates of Union to serve as the first Conductor - Evolving out of membership in the Uplift Chorus a new galactic polity to rival the expansive Mier Formican empire is announced from the seat of the PolitBoro on Vanguard Station. Brigid of the Tezh Consensus, a new friend and comrade, alongside Consensus Leader Faugloglys, an old comrade and war weathered friend, meet with Secretary Gates of Union to all personally sign the ratified charter for Symphony which sets forth a selection of ideals to be pursued by this stellar amalgamation. First and foremost the rights of all thinking entities be they biological, energetic, synthetic, or otherwise composed to the means of sustained life, access to education, availability of meaningful work, and a voice in their governing political process are affirmed and endorsed by signatories. In addition the scientific realities of Oneness are underscored as the basis for reaching this harmonic Symphony between signatories. Symphony is enshrined as a political organization not intended to subjugate or rule with heavy hand from on high but as a coalition composed of likeminded powers pursuing a peaceful and prosperous Axiom. Symphony is to be headed by a Conductor elected by signatory member ballots cast for qualified candidates. In a move that surprises no one aware of the political specialties pursued between Consensus and Union the General Secretary receives the nomination to Conductor for the first six year term of this new political organ.
    2. [Philosophy] Convert U3 to the One using TZH Phi 14 - Ideological organs of the collectivized worker's state get in contact with Tezh Consensus bureaucrats to orchestrate a focused learning campaign in the nearby newly explored sector of space. Spreading of the One thought had been paramount to the Uplift Chorus's success as an alliance and served as a foundational ethos to the principles of the Symphony. The desire to encompass as many as possible in a unified purpose drives promotion of the common tenets among those most newly introduced to the wider galactic civilization.
    3. [Military] Raise Unit 1/2 Tenor - Inspired by the engineering feats touted by the Harbinger class capital ships produced by the Celenians the desire to mount a counter balance for the common working denizens of Axiom to the supremacist militancy many of the aggressive imperialist powers rising up throughout the galaxy prompts action. The commissioning of a capital ship to serve as the flagship for the newly formed Symphony armada is approved in the next production quotas set by the PolitBoro. A 1.8 megatonne prototype Union capital ship is soon under construction in Borealis.
    4. [Military] Raise Unit 2/2 Tenor - The blue sheets of the Union’s Boreal Metal shine coolly against the bold red accents outlining the weapon battery emplacements along the rim of this warship. Missile tubes, electronic countermeasures, and matter manipulator repair bays round out the advanced suite of this starship. As the anointed flagship for Symphony it is seen as fitting to name this ship and this class the Tenor.
    5. [Military] Raise 1 unit of Red Fleet Support Ships - With Rothuun aggression near Rocthurhi borders and the Revolution coming up thanks to UPT’s selfish opportunism armament becomes the number one Union priority. The last time Efficiency Ground spun the galaxy an angry hornet’s nest of Draaxeri had landed in Union’s lap and they had been unprepared to deal with the Superterran assault. The desire to preserve the gains managed by Union and its Symphonic Siblings meant preparation to defend them against outside aggression. With a good portion of the fleet being diverted to protect Lyraen lives against Lyrae's paranoid tyranny replacement hospital ships, transports, and sundry other vessels are pressed into Red Fleet service.
    6. [Military] Raise 1 unit “The Dogs of War” - Lyrae had proven quite intractable in attempts by Union to jumpstart negotiations with the Lyraen Liberation Movement that had gathered within the united front alliance of the ALL. Moderate voices had disavowed the actions taken against the previous incarnation of Lyrae but her reincarnation into a paranoid and frightened state had seemingly only acted to reinforce pushback against the god-queen dictator of the Lyraen Stellar Dominion. While Lyraen opinion was generally depicted as Lyrae’s opinion the truth was far more complicated as Union’s long tenure on the prison planet of Lyrae III had proven. Dissidents and prisoners whose rights had been lobbied for and a small number of whom achieved freedom through work release with the embassy alongside scattered Lyraens from across Axiom are recruited to command and crew a newly assembled fleet of warships. With militarization as a top priority the majority of this Task Force’s ships are true warships and not impressed merchant vessels retrofitted for combat.

    • Send 3 UNN Units (Gestalt Psychics, Red Fleet Dreadnoughts, & Red Fleet Support Ships) to the moderate faction within the Anti-Luminary League in a move intended to dissuade further violence within the Lyraen Stellar Dominion. Lyrae is petitioned to accept parley from the ALL moderates to be ensured and protected by UNN forces. The luminary queen Lyrae is asked to listen again, as she did years and an existence ago, to the concerns of the Union regarding the lack of real political recourse for the many people now brought under Lyraen domain. Democracy or self rule in some form was needed to make her ideal state, the state composed of her own children and many more aliens now besides, function without the contradictions and suffering that now threatened revolution and civil war. The ALL assault on the Lyraen capital is condemned by Union as the actions of extremists from the fringe of politics, a fringe that had only become more powerful due to the repression enforced by Lyrae's state organs of propaganda and war. There were reasonable voices, reasonable Lyraens and aliens brought into a theocracy they couldn't hope to understand and given over to serve a goddess they had never met, within the ALL and the Union pledges to do all it can to protect these innocent people who wished only for the political agency imbued in them by natural impulse. Resorting to a violent struggle for power was an unenviable and bloody state of affairs the Union wishes to see bypassed by Lyrae's agreement to meet with those advocating for a mandate of rule derived from the people she sought to rule and not from Lyrae to herself.

    • The Dipanans are commended for their aid with the Arcane Radiation Harvester and representatives of the human and Sunbream nations are invited to attend a celebratory banquet in Union space. The Dipanans were a noble collective and their strength through diversity and welcoming of the unusual is highly lauded. Invitations to formalize diplomatic relations between Union and the Dipanan join the representatives on their return home.
    • Some view the Uplift Chorus as a somewhat defunct agreement with the formation of Symphony but these voices are swiftly reminded of the Droccen Imperium's retained position as a member of the Uplift Chorus but non-member of Symphony. It had been a difficult decision to come to but ultimately the members of the Uplift Chorus had felt the independent political relationships established by the Droccen made integration into a wider political whole difficult at the current time. Further, it was considered by some within the PolitBoro that the admittance of a monarchist faction, even an elective monarchy with a republican council, among the democratic states of Union, Rocthurhi, and Consensus might undermine the vows of equality taken by Symphony signatories. Nonetheless these arguments were never made too strongly for many knew the young Princess Mika Ren was a favorite to win not only the Drocc imperial crown but was being tutored in Union space on political matters relating to Symphony and its member states. There was a suspicion, no doubt a rather correct one, that the young Princess was being groomed to ascend to untold heights within the ideological/political web that had lifted the Uplift Chorus, now Symphony, this far. But the girl was only just entering her womanhood at the tender age of eighteen and Sai still had many years ahead to reign as Empress and so such talk is discouraged and hushed when heard as for now the great new Symphonic instrument for the One seeks to bring peace and prosperity to its galactic brethren.
    • The Eradicators were a scourge upon Axiom who would choose to become as great a threat as the Same given the chance. It was better to stomp them out now while they were manageable, a lesson followers of the One were wise to learn from their galactic inheritance. No attempt is made to hide the Union’s contempt for the space pirates and an elite team of secretly trained elite commandos are dispatched to take out a known Eradicator hive. The Grymlan Combine is warned not to interfere and assured the Union had no intent to impinge upon their sovereign space. The Star League and friends to good order are invited to attend a celebration of another blow being struck against this menace.
The Grymlan Combine chooses to interfere anyway and the Union begrudgingly stops to listen. Someone capable of tolerating Grymlanspeak is able to ascertain that the Combine had a plan in motion for the nearby base. While the Union was less than enthused by the prospect of waiting ultimately they choose to stand down and tolerate the Grymlan plan of action. The Combine assures the Union of a rapid deadline and Union forces withdraw back to Union space.
    • The Hallion Accords have expired and in the wake of the rebellion within Starfleet and startling revelations of the depravity and cruelty tolerated by the former Council of Officers that were still pouring out of Dominion space the Union and its Symphonic siblings were uncertain it was wise to re-ratify the agreement. Master Marius Thresher Nox was no spring chicken freshly hatched and his apparent ignorance of the corruption infesting his upper echelons does damage to any perception of his role as an opponent to corruption and cruelty. The newest transmissions from the New Dawn certainly contained some of the sorts of words Union had always hoped to hear from their neighbors in Starfleet such as "freedom" and "no discrimination" but their timing cast much doubt about them and the militancy embedded in a fully Starfleet dominated polity were worrying. For now deliberations among the Symphonic siblings continue as to what course of action to take with regards to the Dominion.
