Really. Apparently they already have access to resurrection, so a lot of their problems would be solved by just pushing Odie off the edge of a bottomless pit and resurrecting the original. Or killing him, giving the body to a powerful Eldarin house, and letting them deal with the nightmare spirit.

I want Ardon back in the comic for entertainment reasons, but I can't pretend that most of the characters wouldn't be better off without him.
