Civ VI Multiplayer itP?

Just a preemptive request: no matter how heated in-character arguments and fights get, can we agree to keep our out of character interactions civil? Memories of how nasty GMR 15 got towards the end really soured me on playing these for a long time.

Of course. As long as people don't rub their game mastery in my face and whatnot, all is fine.

Yeah, sometimes things can boil over, if it's hard to differentiate between IC and OOC. It's easy to feel miffed if, say, it feels like the others are ganging up on you just so they all can have a piece of you.

(As an aside, it's gonna be hard for me to not play like I normally would with Germany - that Civ's been my go-to for every Civ game, but, well, it'd be wrong for me to take it just because I got in earlier than the one who took it last time. I'll just need to get used to how other things play. )
