He forms the surrounding material into a blade and makes his own attempt at gardening. The sand and mud circles about him, and the rocks of the very grotto wall shake. He attacks with a blade temporary formed of hardened sand, but the vine deftly moves out of the way, as it sensed the danger the blade represented.

Meanwhile, the second vine in the back is unable to move anywhere.
