I mean the letter opener seems to want Ell to keep working with Ardon, so I figured it was trying for something along those lines.

Maybe sympathetic isn't the right word, but what Avenger Prime's showing Ell (and the readers) doesn't really convince me she should work with Ardon instead of leaving him in a ditch.
