A thought that just occurred to me: In the Escape from the Mall NP storyline, after Akiko catches Rhoda using magic, we get a sequence of Mr. Kitsune trying to spoil Akiko with cookies but his attempts at indulging her are foiled by her unusual levels of maturity and only moderate appetite.

Literally the only other time we see Mr. Kitsune is him sitting there doing nothing while Mama Kitsune is being a bad mom.

So... Is he playing favorites with Akiko, or is he actually a big softy that's intimidated by his wife's demeanor and overcompensate for her borderline abusive strictness when she's not around?
