They do not want to be disturbed, but they know that the "way it has always been" is for adventurers to seek them out." He leans back with a knowing smile, "So one such as you encountered makes it challenging, but their sense of tradition and fairness prevents them from just shutting the doors and hiding away altogether. Besides, some enterprising sort will always find a way."
