I still dislike Ditka from the remarks I remember him making, after Da Bears lost the playoffs or a Super Bowl or something, that "They just didn't want it enough". And I thought, "What a jerk!" Of course they wanted it. Every team wants to win. Just admit that the other team was better today, or luckier, or maybe even had better coaching. Blaming your players for not wanting to win? What a jerkass. I didn't even like Da Bears. But I had sympathy for them after that, to have to hear remarks like that after already losing a game. A coach who didn't accept even a little responsibility, he just put it all on the players.

I will never ever have an ounce of respect for Ditka.
