When did you start reading OOTS and Why?

Damn it's hard to believe it's been over a decade. Absolutely second what OP wrote about the natural, humble charm of this creation. Here's to another dozen years of OoTS. Rich really is an entertainer extraordinaire.

I can't recall for sure when I started reading, but it must have been about the time Azure City was introduced, as I have an ancient NWN character file of a Lawful Stupid Paladin called Miko... ;)
