The group moves to surround the tiefling. Irabeth, Hesper and Rosa move to join Shauna in the fray, packing the room, while Skerak, Lann and the other mongrelfolk cover the door. One keeps watch on the other door in the adjoining room. He calls out in alarm. "Big noise behind the door!"

The tiefling tries to remain on guard, but risks using a bomb even at close quarters. His enchanted skin seems all but impervious. Irabeth sword emerges through his smoke-wreathed figure, but it passed him by without piercing flesh.
