The tail wag did not go unnoticed by Kestrel, causing a pout to slip onto her face as Atreyu (seemingly) relented. Still, she didn't quite seem ready yet to admit that there was absolutely no way for her to keep up with him on foot, so she mumbled and grumbled complaints as they shifted positions. Initially, it didn't quite occur to her what the werewolf was doing. And she already knew from experience that holding on would make the journey less bumpy, so she wrapped her limbs around his muscled and furred body with little hesitation.

But then she saw that devilish grin and the wink.

"Wait, hang on, don't you dare start running again now-" Kestrel was far too late though, and she once more found herself being carried through the woods at a breakneck pace. The sly wolf even still had his hand on her rear!
