Sadly, even without the weight issues, I'd probably need surgery to look good in a dress.

I picked up 13th Age recently and have been reading through it wondering why, of all the things in 4e, the designers of D&D 5th edition removed racial powers. They're the main defining feature of races in 13th Age, and they're cool because they give meaningful differentiation.
Probably because they removed "powers" in favor of returning to a simplified version of the previous system.

And honestly, Powers were a thing that rubbed me the wrong way. Why should learning a new way of brandishing my sword make me forget this other way of doing it?
