Do you know what his alternatives were and what his life was like and how he spends it now? What has Benjamin, specifically, done that makes him worthy to die? Is armed robbery worth the death penalty even if Benjamin has never killed anyone because they have always surrendered? People can be bad, even evil, without being worthless beyond redemption.
