    Yeah no, not buying it.
    Everything is a weapon if you're a bit creative.
    I mean, Snout's house got blown up as a side effect.
    And all those ink spikes/tentacles are probably not harmless either.

    So he probably didn't just change magic, he messed with the minds of magic-users too.
