Tariq helps the victim as best as he can - he treats the cuts and bites, both of them quite large. Making sure he sterilizes the wounds, he finishes the job with a shot of painkiller drugs. The victim relaxes and falls asleep, feeling much better and less close to death.

If Sean can have a rope or a string, he'll tie two pounds of meat to it and try to have it eaten by as many ratdogs as possible. If the string is not available, he'll just trow two rations down, one hear the tree and the other further away, and then watch them while Tariq tends to the man.

Sean does not have the backpack with him, so no jerky. If somebody else has some of our jerky on them, Sean will use that. Otherwise, the locals' rations. Two pounds worth in any case.
The treehouse does have some rope stashed here. They primarily use it to hoist things up from the ground.
There is food available to use as bait. The only question is, just what will try to snack on it?

(OOC: Just post when you're gonna try it...and mark off the food used.)

Richard has that small backpack we found, and has some food and drink among his carried gear. Should be able to cover our jerky needs.
"No way. We stayed away from that stuff even before the monsters came. It smelled awful..."
