The sorceress eyes widens as the flowers shot out all over her office. While this accident in itself wasn't a big deal the fact that he had decided to give her flowers of all things stood out as rather awkward to her.
Usually people only got flowers at two occasions, when they had accomplished something or when there was romantic interest. Neither of which was true here.

"Eh, perhaps you could tell me what you've discovered instead? Accidents happen so easily." She suggests with a gesture.
