Vigil VII: Strife Amidst the Clouds

Dr. Valiance was not a particularly sheepish person.

Or perhaps he was, and had simply become quite good at suppressing such things.

Either way, the man seems somewhat unbothered by the catastrophe that has just enveloped Cessie's unsuspecting office. "Uh yes, the someone." exclaims Dr. Valiance, not missing a step as the conversation is once more geared back to his great discovery. "So, you know I used to work for some real creepy guys. Real freaky sort of stuff, top secret and such, yeah?" He gestures excitedly as he broaches the subject of his shady past. "Well, they're gone now - like I've said. But, some of their stuff remains." There we go.

Now he was getting somewhere. "Anyway, yes - I met a science person and we found one of the old facilities! It's full of all kinds of weird stuff, super sketchy stuff. You know, apocalypse guns and... things like that. It's a real creepy place."

"Don't think it's super safe, but the stuff in there is probably super dangerous. And, you know, I still have clearance. I think."
