Dark heresy 2 - assassin strike question

Doesn't look like it. Assassin strike says nothing about attacking after moving, only moving after attacking. You could Whirlwind Attack, hit everything, then Assassin Strike out of melee, but it wouldn't let you whirlwind-move-continue attacking.

The clause with Counter-Attack is the same - after making a (counter) attack, you can get your free move.
