G'nichi eyes the path. "Well it looks like it's a little narrow for me, but I could manage it. Something to look forward to, I guess. I'll have to ask Lady Eiko about the map thing." Atsushi has a point: there's no sense sticking to anyone too long after making people suspicious.

Oh, right, and you're not one of the Demons, are you?" he asks bluntly. The look on his face makes it seem like he's asking in good humor but he's still asking very bluntly.
Which is the intention of course. He needs to ask directly enough for the chakram to get a good read on if his answer is lying.
