“I doubt it,” says Exile in reply to Cadet. He had been wondering about the previous embassy, but assumed the lack of further information presented in the brief meant no more information was available.

“Those are important issues though and we’ve got to keep them in mind. There’s Union personnel MIA and potentially in need of rescuing and the people who killed their colleagues have to be presumed free.”

Exile traces a finger over a map of the solar system on his tablet, tapping on Oll and Reths.

“There. If they’ve escaped to the outer system, you have two planets with abandoned space stations and countless moons no-one cares about. Perfect places to hide out but probably too much effort to search through considering this has to be a secondary objective.”

Exile glances to Stella. “We’re going to have to send out some kind of public announcement soon. When we do can we make sure it’s broadcast loud, enough that even someone hidden away on the edge of the system will hear it? If they know help is hear, they may come to us of their own accord.”
