Fayyaad leads Rose back to the bonfires, where he'll start showing her a paired dance. It consists of symmetrical circular movements, where the dancers spin in parallel to each other, before closing in again, taking each other's hand and dancing together for a time. It does put them in fairly close proximity to each other briefly, as Rose will no doubt notice. Fayyaad is a surprisingly good instructor, given his lack of teaching experience.

It probably helps that Rose is eager to learn; a good performance here would attract all the right sorts of attention, she thinks. Particularly so from Fayyaad. So she goes through the dance with all the requisite vigor and then some, such that she's visibly sweating and slightly winded by the end; trying hard, but nowhere near her limit.

When they're finished, she decides there's been enough flirtation and goes to make her move. "Well, that was fun!" She giggles, before leaning in and whispering, "Now, if we were to go back to my place, I could teach you a thing or two..."

Invitations don't come much more transparent than that.
