The Lab

Set, followed by Mido, and Vargath reenter the main sewer line and find that it is just as you left it. A mass of dismembered undead coats the floor. When Set begins to search through it, he eventually finds the wicked looking glaive under a the corpse of the iron ghoul, held close to his body in his final moments before he was pulverized. The ghoul fell down onto the blade (not that it experienced it, it was inanimate flesh at the time) and it nearly cleaved it in half. However, when Set lifts the weapon he notices something odd and seemingly malevolent. Small, nearly invisible strings run from the tip of the glaive to each of the fallen undead's limbs, and when Set draws up the glaive the corpse leaps up, causing both Set and Vargath to ready themselves for combat. But it is simply lifting the ghoul into the air like a puppet. When Set evaluates the glaive for magic he finds it pulses with enchantment energy. And he finds he can direct the rotting corpse like a puppet to a remarkable degree. The idea of controlling corpses strikes Set's mind, and the morbidity and sacrilege threatens to overwhelm him.

The Oven

Mal's assessment appears correct. If the tubes pumping this stinky gas could be forced open the oven would fill with gas, and the next person to force it to light would certainly experience a fiery explosions.

The idea of using this weapon to force corpses into helping you is... interesting. It has potential at least. Maybe even a sickening appeal... but you become suddenly disgusted with yourself when you realize how tantalizing the idea is.

No, it's doable. You just need to use your minute saw to sever the mechanism that opens and shuts them.

You could turn this thing into one very large bomb with a little luck and a breaking the pump keeping the gas flowing.
