Selissa took a moment to study the array of pipes and machinery.

She sure couldn't build something like this. She could, however, surely break it. She slid out the slender metal slivers of her thief tools and got to work. At times, she had half wriggled her way into the clanking metalwork to saw open the thin metal pins that controlled the opening and shutting of the gas valves.

The smell of the gas invaded her nose. She pulled her scarf further up to cover her face and continued, occasionally sticking out a hand and giving a terse command.
"Third saw. Pass." and so on.

After a few cramped moments, she stuck her head out, soot smeared on her forehead and great green head of hair, and hopped down. With excessive care, she gently shut the door in the cluster of pipework and stood back.

"Should be building pressure. Don't open,." She said forcefully. "Left a plate hanging inside. Open the door. Sparks."

She began smearing at the stains on the forehead, and allowed her self a small satisfied smile. It had all the kindness of the cat with a small bird between its paws.

"Surprise."
