Set was too eager, too angry - and Vargath knew plenty about anger - and defensive about his the weapon. It was...unnerving. But further discourse would prove fruitless for now. The man's hackles were raised, ready to lash out. Despite the emotional state Vargath perceives in Set, he's happy to let it lie for now, as promised. "We will settle it once we are done here." He rumbles to Maus. "Ignoring a weapon while in the midst of danger serves none of us, but once we are back in a peaceful location...we can deal with it then." Despite the shadowy magic that still persists, Vargath is yet keenly aware that he is the noisiest of the bunch and hangs back from the front as much as he can. When Mal steps forward, Vargath does not follow - between Selissa's stealth and Mal's silver tongue, the half-orc can't help but feel a touch less than useful - but when the time comes to stand in front of people, to hit and be hit, he'd have his place once more. He grips his weapon tighter and readjusts the shield straps on his arm. Just...hopefully there wouldn't be too many fights like the last.
