Before he could finish, the tengu concentrated for a moment, then threw what looked like a mass of ice and snow. Grimgor held back from swapping out weapons - given what little he knew of the beast it might require a magic weapon to provide some margin of safety. He called upon the divine protection of the gods, then gripped his pike and prepared to charge forward
