[Into the Woods]

Unsurprisingly, the forest road is moderately well-kept, especially compared to the underbrush. The road itself shows most of its wear from cart tracks.

At first, it seems pretty safe. Deer in the distance watching, some small game running for cover as he comes near, evidence that a bear calls this area its territory (but isn't around at the moment)...fairly normal and boring forest.

However, after walking for a decent distance, Domhnall will likely feel the distinct feeling of being watched. Like' there's eyes watching behind him. Sure, it may just be the deer, but...if he looks back, the road behind him looks several shades darker than the road ahead. As if the forest itself is encouraging him to continue on forward and to not turn back.

Also, at some point, he'll find a broken wagon wheel just barely on the side of the forest pathway, with some crushed grape stems (and a few grapes) . The grapes have just barely started molding and have mostly been eaten by forest animals, which suggests it must've been not too long ago.
