"It's like... the roll of the waves, when the storm is about to break," she said. "Or the sway of the grass after the wind has passed. Nothing you can pin down, but when you feel it, you know. Or... perhaps you don't, if you grow up south of the shadow." She looked at Elsa again. "We have a saying among the Skael, that it's a fool who seeks the eye of the gods, but a coward who hides from it. I think the eye of the Eagle is on you, vitki." She gave the faintest hint of a smile. "Or maybe your new friend would say the eye of the Raven."
