Stepping through the gate, Shakrat fixes both of the sleeves of his cloak, smiles and nods, but then his face grows sour when he smells the local 'fragrance'.

Following, he doesn't cast any spells, but you can see he has a severe limp one he just accepts and continues on.

Upon seeing the pit he raises an eyebrow, "Do we know what these large ants are?" he exclaims, more of a statement than a question, as in 'we should probably find out before we dive into the pit' than anything.
