R2T8: As the plant whips him back Akif bellows in rage and spins around with shield and spear, jabbing forward repeatedly even as he bellows an encouraging roar for his fiends to goad them into attacking. He stabs it for 27 and it drops, and then stabs it again, most assuredly killing it!

End Round 2, Begin Round 3 ...

R3T18: Despite already facing off against a plant monster, The Scribe ignores the current one. Too quickly for Blue to respond to, The Scribe - continuing his oration - zips around and stabs his flaming ranseur into the mass of the fallen plant monster (Red). That is when Akif and Sisir realize that these things have incredible regeneration. "That one is dead now ... fire."
