Merry, having recovered his wits since the battle with The Plague, stands defiant against the King. He slowly pulls on a snakeskin glove and crushes a bit of eggshell in his palm, while chanting in Elvish, "Hand! Hand! Hand!" As the third invocation sounds a large shining hand appears next to the King and punches him.

As the hand appears, Merry moves to his left and fades into Etherealness.

Summoning a Large hand with 57hp and AC 20. It's in K-L 20-21, I think, though it doesn't fill the space. It gets an attack: (1d20+12)[26] for (4d8)[10] force damage. It will stick around for a minute if Merry stays concentrating. He's in K24 or so.
