After the some number crunching Duel Facade seems less poweverful than duel progression builds where such prestige classes or feats exist.

Hunter Knave vs Swift Ambusher
Better: Attack, Fortitude and Will
Worse: Reflex, Skirmish and Sneak Attack
Hunter Sage No Duel Progression (Scout/Wiz) Avalible
Knave Sage vs Arcane Trickster
Better: Attack and Fort
Worse: Sneak Attack and Arcane Spells

essentially Chameleon will have better attack and thematically inapropriate saves. However it will have worse thematically appropriate saves and abilities.
