I miss here too, but Curly has been doing some discovering.
Eight week terms are really intense. Plus weekly essays.
Curly's schedule from last Saturday 'til this Saturday:
Sat morn and afternoon: Putting up posters and busking to raise publicity for The Mikado.
Sun: Finish reading primary and secondary reading for essay.
Mon: Two lectures, reading and more research. Eve: Choir rehearsal.
Tue: Lecture, more reading. Evening: Rehearsal for The Mikado. FINISH ESSAY
Wed: Tutorial, class, get next essay topic, do reading for it. Club debate in evening.
Thurs: G&S elections and unofficial rehearsal. Also, sectional rehearsal for choir.
Fri: Lecture, copy up notes, more reading; another club.
Sat: Full runthrough of Mikado.
And if you think that's crazy, next week's schedule is as follows (skipping out all mentioned above):
Sun: FINISH ESSAY. CHoir rehearsal with soloists.
Mon: Normal choir rehearsal, plus the usual.
Tues: Hand in essay, enjoy one day of nothing; excepting what's listed above. Oh, except the Mikado dress rehearsal.
Wed: First night of Mikado; plus everything lse listed for Wed above.
Thur: Second Mikado, plus everything else.
Fri: Third Mikado, plus everything else.
Sat: Afternoon: complete runthrough of Petite Messe. Evening:Last Mikado, plus everything else.
I still have an essay to do that week as well.
So pretty intense, but I still manage to lurk here, if not post.
Now for some reactions:
Wait, what. Charity's a teacher? A math teacher? Buh. Whu'?
Reina's back! *glomp hugs*
@Bath: You were missed dreadfully, and I'm glad you came back.
I miss Skippy. Does anyone else miss him?
Also; when did Fred leave?
@Jibbers: *hugs* Losing the internet can be really sucky.
Back to the essay. Wee. But it should be easy to do. And has to be done by seven so I can go to rehearsal.
. . .
Essay crisis! (I jest, I've had far worse problems than that. Such as a 2 500 - 3 500 word essay that was at 1 300 words at midnight when the essay was due in by half past eleven that morning.)
Nonetheless: Minor Essay Crisis! And they're fun too.
